We had a wonderful time learning about Avraham and Sara and their life in a tent in the desert! We brought the story to life with our own tent in our classroom, giving the children the opportunity to explore and experience the story through dramatic play. We also learned about the special mitzvah of welcoming guests and inviting others into our homes. To put this value into practice, our preschoolers proudly invited the Nursery 2 class into their classroom to share snack together!   

The children explored the beautiful colors of autumn by creating their very own “leaf soup”! Using droppers filled with red, yellow, and orange watercolor, they squeezed and mixed the colors, watching their fall creations come to life. They also used scissors and hole punchers to cut, punch, and transform real leaves, strengthening their fine motor skills while exploring the textures and colors of the season.  

Our preschoolers are welcoming the fall season with curiosity, wonder, and lots of colorful discoveries! 🍃 As we begin our fall theme, we’re exploring how the leaves change from green to beautiful shades of red, orange, yellow, and brown. 🌳✨
