We’re learning all about the ten makos and are using lots of skills while making them in our crafts. From 3-D frogs to hairy lions and grasshoppers that can open their mouths, we’re bringing what we’re learning about to life.
We put the finishing touches on our solar system project. As we used different materials for each planet, we learned their names and some fun facts about them. The results? Better than we could planet.
We turned off the lights and our play area transformed into a space of glowing stars and galaxy lights for some out of this world fun. Nearby, a background of all the planets prompted questions and comets from the children which led to even more learning.
We’re learning about the ten makos (plagues) and are going to craft them out ofdifferent materials. First, we stuck popsicle sticks on paper to make nine triangles. This helped us practice our space orientation and shape recognition.
We’re learning all about outer space and our solar system! Using different materials and textures, we’re making a project with all of the planets in our solar system
