Creating some stormy skies

Using a mix of black and white paint, the kids created their own thunderstorms as we talked about what thunder and lightning are. Everyone loved seeing the videos of lightning streaking across the sky that we showed them!

After the plates were dry, the kids glued on blue rain drops and yellow lightning bolts to really showcase their storms. They’re now hanging up on our wall!
