Creating colored sand

We’ve discovered a new favorite activity with the kids! Taking salt and putting some on a tray, and then giving them chalk, the kids enjoyed using the chalk to color the salt and turn it in to their very own colored sand. A bonus is how much the kids enjoyed the sensations of playing with the salt as they transformed it!
