Graphics Practice
As we are slowly progressing through the graphics practice curriculum, the class is gaining a better understanding of how to hold the marker and following a series of specific instructions. This activity is designed to develop pre-writing skills and self-inhibition. The class draws as instrumental music is played and pauses whenever the music stops. At this point, they are able to moderate themselves and their peers effectively without outside reminders and even are beginning to notice the similarities between the shapes we practice and the letters that they recognize.
